Review of Hail, Caesar! (2016) by Greg S — 12 Aug 2016

I enjoyed this movie. It had several funny parts where I laughed out loud. It had alot of good scenes too. I felt like it was a movie about artists making art, in a way. And, I can relate a bit since I am also an artist.

Just not a Hollywood artist.... The whole cast did a great job. Everyone acted very well. It had pretty good direction. The Coen Brothers are usually a nice treat. This movie lived up to their name. Scarlett Johansson as an actress playing a mermaid and then acting nothing like a mermaid after the scene was over was great.

The cowboy star that couldn't act had me cracking up so hard during the scene where he went and sat down on the couch. It was so funny to me! I would watch this again. This even reinvigorates my interest in the Coen Brothers.

I should watch all of their films. They are good at what they do.
