An absolute trifle of a film - with little more on its mind than a postcard from 1953, Hail Caesar may have a point to make, but who cares? From Tatum's giddy dance number to Johanssen's million dollar mermaid with a $1.
98 accent, the charms are in the journey, not the destination. Jesus. And I mean that nicely. :).
