Review of Hacksaw Ridge (2016) by Daryl L — 03 Mar 2017
If you're a Christian, you'll admire how Andrew Garfield's character is blessed with the ability to save others in spite of what others say of his beliefs/think about him (due to the fact that he is a very religious person, refusing to touch a gun/rifle after nearly killing his brother, following the commandment "Thou shall not kill").
Otherwise, it basically shows the difficulty of Garfield's character maintaining his beliefs. The war scenes were realistic, and Garfield's acting here is better than in the two Spiderman movies he was in.
Believe it or not, Vince Vaughn is in this film and likewise he was pretty good as well.
