How this movie got beat out by Moonlight (which we watched the other night - it absolutely sucked) for Best Picture of the Year, is beyond me. Best war flick since Saving Private Ryan - BETTER actually.
Why did it not win? Easy. The Hollywood crowd hates Mel Gibson and this True Story had God and the Bible in it. That's why.
