Review of Hacksaw Ridge (2016) by Terry C — 16 Apr 2017
Mel Gibson returns to the directing chair after more than a decade, and returns in fine form with a new WWII drama. Clearly Gibson is driven by the inspiring narrative of a man of faith and his convictions in the harshest condition.
WWII buffs will have a treat with this very graphic historical drama, but for me as one of faith I find the message lies stronger in the world view which brings about such actions in the dark moments of history.
