Based on a true story about private Doss ......this film has everything. and even though it is very voilent at times it is amazing to know this person actually existed and fought in World War II and never lifted or shot a gun.
very emotional and please watch the credits so you see a lof of the characters portrait in their live versions. and as shocking as it can be Mel Gibson is the director.
