Mel Gibson placed his religious side of his directorial work into the military, with grace, that resulted in a new grippingly fresh perspective of heroism, amid the decently-crafted conventional substance and very well-performed required energy of the war genre however rushed it is in some places . It can be considered a timely matter of a film, as well matching the strength of the war genre in the 90s to be one of the best in the 2010s. (A-).
