This movie is no average movie. It is a true story, and thats what I enjoyed the most about it. Sadly the movie takes a while to pick up, but when it picks it... It f**king picks up! The movie is filled with gore and horrifying visuals, it shows the horrors of war and how scary man truly is.
Acting is amazing, the dialogue is perfect, Andrew Garfield did a great job. Mel Gibson proved him self again with this must watch classic. Some people said the movie preaches a lot about Christianity, I'm not saying it doesn't but at the same time its not really an issue, it didn't bug me or anything.
There are no perfect movies but this one is surely close to that. Hands down my favorite movie of 2016.
