Review of Hacksaw Ridge (2016) by Tim W — 14 Jan 2018
An astonishing story. Good job the protagonist was there given the US Army in it's wisdom decided to throw their troops at an entrenched Japanese army via a net hanging off a cliff face. If you told this story as fiction, you wouldn't believe it.
Andrew Garfield does the role credit. He has a good deal of charm, Garfield. He's very likeable in a his roles and is a sure bet for the everyman, understated hero.
