Review of Hacksaw Ridge (2016) by K S — 20 Dec 2017
Hacksaw Ridge is gritty, real, and emotional. The first 30 minutes are slow, but worth it in the end. Good character building and backstories are important in war movies, and Hacksaw Ridge does it well.
The movie is a true tribute to Desmond Doss' courageous actions.
