Unbelievable. Amazing. Just can't say enough about how awesome this movie is. I live in the area where this hero was born and raised, and many areas, schools, and rods are named after him. I have to admit I never did any research.
Just knew he was a conscientious objector soldier. But watching this movie.....WOW. Just wow. NOW I've done some research, and found out that not only are all the heroics in this movie true, but there was even MORE heroism that wasn't included.
You need to watch this movie.
