Although this movie is nothing like Mitnick or Phiber Optick's or Capt'n Crunch's plight- it's sooooo nostalga... It's so end of 80's/early 90's that someday it will be in a virtual museum somewhere- right next to the MAC commerical with the chick with the sledgehammer, Yoda, Pearl Jam and the hackey sack.

When I think of artsy, and techno I think Hackers. When I think hot Jolie- I think Hackers. When I think of fav lines Hackers comes up quite a bit. I just love this movie. Kids rising up against the system, against the man, doing something.

As Big Black would say from Rob & Big "doing work son"... Ok so the plot is ohhh really good. Not shoe string. You got April 1 right around the corner hommie. Conflicker 2 nuff said. You have corrupt corporate yahoo's hummmmm have you been watching the news lately.

You got your anti hero cold kicking it live, your chick he wants in such high school point blank fashion- that's touching. You have the group of friends that bond together. Oh back to the hero thing- how many kids actually have to move to a new school in this universe- I'm guessing more then two.

It's played well, by a great cast- that's called ensemble. 5 stars because it was written and then story-boarded and actually clicked in my head at least. 5 stars because they don't make movies like this any more.

5 stars because you rarely see a movie with soul that also looks cool and trendy all at the same time.
