Review of Hackers (1995) by John B — 20 Oct 2009
Wow. I have to say that this was a flick that I look at and go, "How did this get made?" If you're having a cheesy movie night, take a look at this. I'm not a big Jolie fan and this doesn't exactly do anything to make me change my mind. As to Mr. Miller? There were times where he'd remind me of Billy Mays. In fairness, this was his first film but the delivery was just really stiff and cringeworthy (and not in a good way... Keanu Reeves is more watchable.).
Further, you could TELL that the writer was just pulling terms out of his You-know-what when it came to the terminology.
All in all, I'd take Wargames over this as more watchable and plausible (not by much, but still...).
