Review of Hackers (1995) by Murder C — 10 Jul 2011
There are a few problems with this movie. One is that it takes 45 minutes to become interesting. Two is that it's another of those This-is-what-technology-will-look-like-in-20-years-really-it-is-trust-us films.
And three is that however popular angst may have been in the early 90's, the protagonist is 100% unlikeable. I will say, however, that after the team is finally assembled and ready to rock, the movie gets pretty good.
Definitely has a great ending.
