Review of Hack! (2007) by Jamil S — 11 Apr 2008
This one really took me by surprise. With a funny script, a stellar B-cast, and buckets of blood, Hack really goes above and beyond the usual direct to video Horror fare. Some people might be sick of self-referential Horror films, but they're okay with me when done right.
Writer/director Matt Flynn infuses his script with tons of in-jokes, and it's funniest when embracing its cliches. And who can't resist William Forsythe as a Scottish red herring named Willie?
