Review of Hack! (2007) by David L — 15 Jul 2011
Altogether pretty shoddy really, especially the acting performance of the token bimbo girl. It started off quite well with a good introduction of characters but lost the plot midway through and then started taking the mickey out of itself at the end.
It was like the script writer became increasingly drunk as he wrote the storyline. Some of the banter between the characters was quite witty (but typically American) and there was a lot of excessive blood used in the death scenes.
A few jumpy moments made it a little scary, but it was more of a comedy than a horror film really. I mean, in what other classic horrors do you get some overly camp chinese teenager randomly breaking out into the song 'fame' when being chased by a psychotic maniac?
