5 out of 5 stars: If you love my dog Hugo, then this is a must watch! I have never seen movie have such emphasis on a dog, and I am convinced that that Akita and Shiba are the best dogs in the world! Again if you have ever had contact with Hugo, Hachi is identical in facial expressions, color, proportions, temperment, attitude, manerisms! I don't care about anything else, cuz I had a smile on my face the entire movie, well except for when I was crying.

I love my dog and nobody can take that away from me! AGAIN, IF YOU KNOW HUGO, YOU MUST WATCH HACHI! -Alex.
