Review of Hachi: A Dog's Tale (2009) by John S — 18 Mar 2011
Hachiko is one of those movies that is fresh amongst all the mindless and swashbuckling flood of movies. Although 2 years old, the movie is a definite "feel good" film that reminds us that loyalty and friendship are rare breeds that are found in a rare Akita dog.
Like every movie that has a message, Hachiko sends a very powerful and emotional message which is "loyalty-is rare and admirable". If only humans can awaken this dead trait in them and be loyal again just like Hachi.
