Review of Gymkata (1985) by Randy T — 14 Apr 2009
You know a movie is going to be good when the main character gets his special mission, a training montage, and the standoffish girl all within the first twelve minutes. Name any aspect of the movie and I guarantee it's horrible: Acting? Check.
Editing? Check. Fight choregraphy? Check. Sound Effects? Check. The fight scenes are so ridiculous, and not in a cool way, they have to be seen to be believed. I don't think I've felt this way about a bad movie since Gangland/early Uwe Boll, so it was a relief to know is can still enjoy this kind of movie.
