Somewhat disappointed in Mani Ratnam! As Sunay said, its good for the last half hour. Nonetheless, it was good to see Mithun and Abhishek go head to head. It would have been better to see some closure to Madhvan and Mithun's characters! They simply disappear, which sucks.
Aish, dont think much about her, but she did a good job. Abhishek best performance comes in the last half hour, otherwise he seems too childlike throughout. Although his aging throughout the film was amazing.
Mani Ratnam almost knew that this was going to sell so he cut corners in making this a great Madras Talkies film.
