The cast may have performed well (which I am really doubtful about), but absolutely no research was done on this!! Bangladesh wasn't born as a result of Indo-Pak war. India joined the war to help Bangladeshis on 3rd December, 1971; 8 months from the date the war started.
They did help refugees with food and shelter, but they did not fight the entire war, as the movie claim. I cannot believe an entire movie was made without correcting this mistake! It seems that the entire production did not have one person who could "fact check" the script.
The director was negligent to the point of being callous, which really does make me think it was intentional. So you are thinking, what's the big deal? The big deal is that it is insulting, fraudulent and offensive to an entire nation.
It was the worst movie any film industry has ever made.
