Review of Gun for a Coward (1956) by Kevin M. W — 26 Jun 2017
A standard Western from the 1950's without much to distinguish it except for the middling idea of gender roles (in which case its ahead of its time by some 70 years or so). Jeffrey Hunter stars as a guy who doesn't fit the Western mold and so there is much grumbling in the cowboy bunkhouse ranks as to whether he should be wearing a dress or no.
"And do ya see how he acts around snakes???" It's a different Western with an unusual and different emphasis.
