Review of Gummo (1997) by Robert M — 11 Sep 2010
From the writer of Kids, another movie where kids are kind of just walking around doing nothing. I did like the style of the movie and how it was shot, but for the most part I felt that it was trying too hard to make it a freakfest.
Kids had a bit of a plot, this really doesn't have one and is more a collective feel. It does keep you watching to see how dirty and nasty the kids/adults(?) will be next.
