Review of Gummo (1997) by Rodney E — 12 Jul 2013
Either you love it or hate it. There are too many characters and scenes of note to mention but the shot of the two boys riding their bikes to Sleep is awesome. The cat killer is also something I find to be great in this.
There is a nightmarish quality to this and living next to Hammond I have seen my fair share of yokels similar to here. Harmony Korine proved himself an auteur here.
