Review of Gulliver's Travels (2010) by Lance M — 01 May 2012

A lighthearted fantasy to another world. After blagging a writing job for a woman he fancies, Gulliver falls asleep at the boat helm and ends up in a watery cyclone, submerging him. After waking and realising he's tied down on the beach he befriends and protects the enchanting kingdom of Lilletput.

He makes a home for himself and gets very comfortable feeling good about himself. Good special effects making Jack Black bigger or a smaller version of himself, a comical cast and some cheap, tongue in cheek humour.

Short running time and a definite family, or kids movie and not to be taken seriously.
