1: I wasn't expecting much, but I was still disappointed. The main reason I watched it is because it's one of the few 3D Blu-Ray's currently available, but it does also star two of my favorite young actresses: Emily Blunt and Amanda Peet.

Blunt is the highlight of the film, but only because she realizes how ridiculous, ludicrous, and awful the film is and acts accordingly. Beautiful, alluring, and funny as always. Peet isn't given much to work with, but she does enough to show she'd probably work pretty well in a romantic comedy role.

Jack Black and Jason Segal both seem to have a higher opinion of their work and of this film than they should. Much of the purportedly funny scenes are simply idiotic, but in a bad way. The 3D is solid, but it doesn't result in the film rising above it's awfulness.

I don't really know Gulliver's Travels, but it's not clear to me whether a more intimate knowledge of the work would have made this film better or worse. Probably worse.
