It is what it is. It's not awful but it's definitely made for kids and unfortunately doesn't cater too well for the grown-ups. Still, it has an impressive cast and if you enjoy Jack Black, then it's entertaining in parts.
Otherwise, you maybe in for a very long 1hr 25mins.
