Tracy died very shortly after this film, which is unfortunate, but his last role was that of a father battling his personal demons (his own disagreement with racism, but still not wanting his daughter to marry an African American).
Hepburn was excellent as well. This movie dealt with racism right out in front, with no cover or buffer.
