Great acting by all involved which makes this a very enjoyable film to watch. While the film banks on the acting to carry it there is still good photography and technical aspects. This touched home much more in the time it came out (like In the Heat of the Night which came out the same year and also starred Sidney Poitier) but still resonated today to show that problems and differences can always be overcome.
