Very entertaining and touching.A great film that relates to its time with intelligence and class. The writing is the smartest thing about this movie. It does what it must in order to get its point across, even if it means making John Prentice a perfect character, and giving Matt Drayton inspirational dialogue.
Themes aside, it is also an acting showcase that provides top notch entertainment.
