Review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) by Trey B — 07 Nov 2017
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is the rare sequel that compares well to it's predecessor, exceeding it slightly in my eyes. This is the first movie that ever made me cry, and I also laughed a lot watching this.
The entire cast is great, led by Pratt and Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket. Star-Lord and Gamora's love story is intriguing and James Gunn puts the Guardians to the test on an emotional level.
Kurt Russell is great as Ego and is perfectly cast as Star-Lord's dad. Final note: By far the wackiest of the MCU movies and Stan Lee cameos are now even cooler.
