Review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) by Red_Ninja_9 — 08 May 2017
I had to go see this since the first one was great. Well, it is Guardian of the Galaxy so expect plenty of quirky humor. Drax really stood out in this one, very funny with his blunt and frank interactions.
However, the plot is pretty stupid. Kurt Russel aka Starlord's dad is celestial (a planet) like what in the blood hell. He wants his son's help to destroy all life because he couldnt do it alone, talking about cheesiness.
That's where this movie went wrong, if it werent for the humor, i'd give this movie a 3. In the Marvel universe where you have cool super heroes in awesome capes and amazing power. You have this celestial god that looks average and have mediocre power that doesn't seem to fit in the marvel universe.
He is immortal yet he looked 70 years old, okay. If the writer wrote this story for a kid or teenager than it wouldnt matter, but any intelligent adult will find this movie misinformed and too over the top.
Need Neil deGrasse Tyson to give them a little astrophysic lesson. Shees.
