I don't know what movie Soren Andersen of the Seattle Times saw, but it was obviously a completely different movie than the one I saw. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was hilarious; I simply haven't laughed so hard at a movie in a very long time.
It's a very rare movie in which the viewers don't all stand en masse and leave as soon as the closing credits begin, out of a theatre full of people I only saw one or two people get up and leave, the rest iof of sat there listening to "Awesome Hits of the 80's Vol.
2" and were rewarded with additional scenes throughout the credits. Awesome movie, I'll probably even buy it when it comes out on BluRay.
