Review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) by Movie J — 09 Nov 2017

Louder and brasher than the first film but not quite as enjoyable, maybe because it was all new and exciting last time. They're all great, the Pratt/Russell chemistry is great as is the Saldana/Gillan chemistry.

Baby Groot is too adorable for words and Mantis is a great new addition, her interaction with Drax creates many of the funniest moments. It's a shame they had to kill off Yondu tho, I loved his fatherly relationship with Quill.

So Volume 2 is hilarious, rude, mad and action-packed, if you enjoyed the first one you won't be disappointed!
