Reviewed 5.5.17. As an admitted fan of the first GOTG movie, perhaps I'm being a bit soft on the follow-up. It certainly isn't as fresh, and the ambitious storyline falls clumsily short. But its particular brand of charm remains intact.
And while the narrative threads fray, the comedic writing remains taut, along with the stellar deadpan delivery from the leads.
