Review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) by Amber M — 25 May 2017

After the surprisingly great Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) we have this sequel that though may not be as great as the original is still a very good film. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 the group must fight their newfound family together as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill or Star Lord's true parentage.

What is great about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is that for a sequel it doesn't rely on the same material as the original does which in my opinion is the problem with a lot of sequels now a days.

Another thing I loved about this film is that all the original characters are back, and we are even introduced to a couple of new characters as well, to me the best character is Rocket, voiced by Bradley Cooper, to me he stole the show and I love the chemistry between him and the characters of Baby Groot, and Yondu.

I also loved Baby Groot because not only is he adorable but is bad ass as well, I kind of want one now. The film also makes us appreciate the character of Yondu more, I don't know how to explain it without spoiling it so I am just going to leave it at that.

Though Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is a good film it does have its minor flaws, like for example I thought that the characters of Star Lord and Gamora were much better in the original than in this one and I also thought that the sound track in the original was 100 times better than the sound track in this film.

However Guardians of the Galaxy Vol, 2 is still a fun and highly entertaining action film and is a great way to start your summer, sure the film has minor flaws in it but in all honesty they are extremely small, if you want a fun summer action film that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish I recommend Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.

2 is the film for you, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.
