Guardians of the galaxy vol. 2 was another round of fun, funny, and visually stunning round of irrevent fast paced mayhem. This movie, however, focused on the characters and their back stories , which was very welcome.

You could tell James Gunn knew what he was doing with the script, and knew he couldn't just make 2 hours of the first movie again. There were points, mainly the first 30 minutes, however, that felt very repetitive of the first film.
