Review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) by Second G — 06 Sep 2018

One more movie for the Guardians, the Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2. A very loved movie by the marvel fans. As the first part James Gunn was in charged of the movie, because of this the expectation was very high. Also is very important to say that this is an action and Sci - Fi movie, where all the events are set in the space, very colorful by the way.

By the other hand is very useful to talk about the actors and actresses in the movie. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper are the main actors that played the Guardians of the Galaxy. Chris Pratt is the main actor that have been part of important movies like Jurassic World and Passenger. Chris Pratt plays the main character, Star Lord and Zoe Saldaña plays also a very important one, Gamora. These are two of the more important characters in the movie.

The volume 2 of the Guardians of the Galaxy story talks about how Peter Quill and the guardians went to the sovereigns planet, were they are exchanging some important batteries so they can get back to them the sister of Gamora, Nebula. But Rocket stole one battery and the sovereigns try to kill them, and in the persecution they crash in an unknown planet. There they found a person called Ego and his assistant Mantis. He say he is the father of Peter, but Gamora don't believe it. Anyway the guardians spend a long time in Ego's planet. There Peter was passing time with his father and he discover that Ego killed his mother, so he tried to kill him and the guardians get into the fight against Ego finally killing him making his heart explode. It's a quite good plot that finally reveal a very interesting mystery of the movies of the guardians. Also it was a very good twist in the plot making Ego being the one who kill the mother of Star Lord and showing how he reproduce and left some power in every planet to take control of them.

The cinematography was very good and I like it, but definitely the best thing for me was the soundtrack that have music like from the 80's and I like it a lot. Also the colorful background gives an ownstyle to the movie. The emotional effects were very well done, because in the parts that were made to make people laugh it makes people laugh and the moments made to make people cry it make people cry. The special effects in this movie were very present in the movie because it was set in the space. The only thing I can say about the special effects is that there very good and realistic. Finally for me the best escene is the one where Yondu dies and they make a funeral where the Nova Corps assists and in it the assistant and friend from Yondu cry because of how proud is him about Yondu. I liked a lot the scene because it made me cry and it was something I enjoy seeing Yondu having a respectful death.

In conclusion the movie was very well done and it have a lot of good resources that make it a very enjoyable movie. In a scale from 1 - 10 I give this movie a 10 because this movie have a very own style and is very well executed. I really think the fans have been very happy because how the movie was and all the good scenes this movie have that make the fans get excited. Finally I think this is a really good movie that everyone should see no matter if you are a superhero movie fan or not, because anyway is a very good movie that is very enjoyable for everyone.
