Guardians of the Galaxy is mildly entertaining and sometimes comedic. It's overloaded with CGI and action sequences and is often unbelievably stupid. But after all it doesn't take itself seriously and asks us to extend the same courtesy.
In the end the loud, charismatic and energetic superhero flick does succeed a whole lot more than it fails.
