Review of Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) by Jeremy N — 07 Sep 2018
Guardians of the Galaxy was an interesting and fun movie, the way that each of the characters were all introduced was superb. Gunn has created a 3 act story that flows in a very elegant and entertaining way.
Along with that, the antagonist of the film felt intimidating and chilling. Despite, a little bit of a slow pace in the first act of the film I found it highly enjoyable. Along with that, this film has had spectacular scenic shots and used CGI in a way that I have never seen Marvel do before.
The plot of the film was entertaining and I found it extremely interesting, however, the story was a little generic with a few overused cliches stuck in there, the comedy of the film, however, did make up for it as there were absolutely hysterical scenes.
Overall, I would give this movie a B+.
