Review of Grumpy Old Men (1993) by Mike T — 24 Mar 2008
A very funny and somewhat intelligent comedy. Matthau and Lemmon have a genius chemistry without which the movie would have been a disaster. The overall story is good and the movie's simplicity keep it clean from holes and obvious flaws.
It's a really cool experience and an abolsute riot if you love humor involving two extremely bitter and immature old men who can't stop bickering with one another. Also, Burgess Meredith reminds us how great he is here.
