In the vein of "UHF", a contrived plot to spotlight a popular personality into. In this case: A CAT! So for adorable-ness alone this gets 4 stars. However, I laughed much more than I thought I would, so I do give it a positive review regardless of the fact its a TV movie starring a cat that is trying to sell its audience merch.
What's more American than that? It passes the Bechdel test, but sadly is lacking people of color in its cast.
