Review of Grown Ups (2010) by Matthew A — 08 Jul 2013
"Grown Ups" is a hiliarious, comedic, funny movie. It stars Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, Chris Rock, Kevin James, and David Spade. Five friends meet up with each other thirty years later from middle school to come to their old basketball coaches funeral.
They catch up with each other and remember the good times that they had together at their old coach's summer beach cabin. The film is about remember good times and having fun together. They hang out with their kids, and teach their kids the games that they used to do, like rope swinging, jumping in the ocean, going to water parks, instead of playing on video game.
The kids learn to have fun with each other and their parents. But, their is also a rival their too, who has a grudge against Sandler's character for beating him in a old, middle school basketball game.
The film commemorates on how the five friends are reuniting with each other, having a good time with themselves and family, and just having a fun, good time with each other and everyone else. Also, Schneider's character is made fun of a lot for his elvis hair, the way he talks, his relationship with his older, girlfriend, and his two pretty, older daughters.
Sandler's character is made fun of for being a director in Hollywood, and Spade's character is made fun of for being short. Rock's character for being a home father with a workaholic wife.
James' character for being overweight. It is a funny, good, family film.
