Grown Ups is an "All-Star" movie starring Adam Sandler and a big number of people he has worked with in the past. Unfortunately this "All-Star" fashion is let down by a mediocre film.

The funny moments only provide slights laughs and then there are parts to the movie that are just irritating, disturbing, and just makes viewers ask "Why this?" A kid still being breast fed at age 4, a bunch of guys in their 40s holding a grudge over a basketball game from their childhood, and Rob Schneider being married to a woman old enough to be his mother were three of the biggest repellents in this movie for me.

The children in this movie were not very likable characters either. If there's anything that can really make me hate a movie is stubborn, annoying, and/or overacting children. Adam Sandler's Lenny's kids are so spoiled they don't know what a non-flat screen TV looks like and they've never heard of tap water.

Are you kidding me? I did somewhat enjoy the simplicity of this movie and there were moments when I giggled a bit, but that was about it. They're all just joking around with each other and there was no real plot to keep up with.

With no real set up plot, it's hard to become engrossed in the movie and you'd think it would be very engrossing given who is in the cast. Unfortunately, for what it is made out to be, it's a disappointment.

I don't know why Adam Sandler's doing a sequel, but maybe in this time they'll actually try and maybe make it a little less annoying and make it feel more like a movie. Only time will tell.
