I'm slightly embarrassed to have watched this, but there's a part of me that continues to hold hope that this comedy team can recapture the magic of 'Billy Madison' and 'Happy Gilmore.' Adam Sandler's 'Don't Mess with the Zohan' was hilarious and the original 'Grown Ups' was pleasantly mediocre. So I know there's some gas left in the tank.

Unfortunately, this sequel is a laughless mess. The plot - which is a generous way of describing it - is a lazy knock-off of 'Dazed and Confused.' It's also a shockingly ignorant view of upper-middle class accessibility, presented without even a hint of irony.
