Review of Grow Your Own (2007) by Darrin D — 06 Oct 2009
A solid movie infused with some valuable lessons on community, tolerance/understanding, hope, love, and perseverance. With all that packed in to the film there was bound to be a few loose ends that I couldn't help but feel needed further explanation.
Maybe it's just that I'm used to American cinema where there would be a 2 minute montage at the end that ties up all the loose ends with some feel-good nonsense where in Philip Jackson would return a changed man after only a few hours and there would be dancing and cake. Just like real life.
