Exactly how a good comedy should be. Groundhog Day has enough funny moments without making you feel like you're being drowned by joke after joke and focuses more on a very creative and clever storyline.
I think it covers just about every good and bad thing about playing out the same day, everyday and on the whole it's very, very enjoyable.
