In some ways a science fiction movie, it is a romantic story, and also a terrific comedy. This is one of several movies in which Bill Murray should have received an oscar for best actor. Andie MacDowell as his love interest is also memorable.
The theme song is unforgettable, "You Don't Know Me", by the genius who is Ray Charles. This movie is a classic that has become part of the lexicon. This is a true inspirational masterpiece, and also a masterpiece of comedy, philosophy, and romance.
And believe it or not, you can watch it over and over, and it just seems to get better and better.
