Review of Ground Operations: Battlefields to Farmfields (2013) by Adam H — 18 Feb 2015
Incredible resource for Veterans interested in sustainable farming. The film really shows what a profound healing effect working on the farm can have for vets with PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. It provides a multidimensional exploration into challenges facing returning veterans as well as our nation's food production.
It provides a very clear and strong argument for why veterans ought to consider getting into farming, and why we need to support this movement. Entertaining, well shot and made, emotionally evocative but not bleeding heart at all.
Short, sweet and to the point. The veterans are sincere and engaging and it really makes you cheer for them.
