Review of Grosse Pointe Blank (1997) by Jacob S — 11 Aug 2009
It was OK, but that's about the most I can say for it. Maybe this was a lot funnier 12 years ago, but it hasn't really aged all that well. I look down at the other reviews, and I kinda wonder if those people saw the same movie.
Notice, "High Fidelity" (a better movie) is listed as More Like This. I agree. John Cusack here is really the same character he was in "High Fidelity", and I have to wonder if he's really able to play outside of this casting. His sister Joan is probably the funniest thing in "Grosse Pointe Blank".
